Bicycle worth $2,500 stolen from car parked downtown

A bicycle worth $2,500 was stolen Sunday afternoon from a vehicle parked downtown, Buffalo police reported.

A North Tonawanda woman told Central District officers the rear passenger side window of her vehicle was smashed sometime between 1:50 and 4:30 p.m. while it was parked in the 200 block of Franklin Street.

A black and green Felt B16 Triathlon bike was stolen from inside the car, according to a report.

A Buffalo police surveillance camera captured footage of the theft, the report stated.
