NIAGARA FALLS – A 54-year-old woman told police she was robbed at gun point after she left the Seneca Niagara Casino at 11:30 p.m. Sunday in the 400 block of Sixth Street.
She told police an unknown man grabbed her by her left forearm as she was crossing the street and blocked her path. She said the man pulled out a silver handgun from his waistband and told her to empty her pockets and give him everything she had. The man then swung the gun at her and struck her in the right forearm, cutting her arm.
The man reportedly ran off with $100 cash, her New York State identification, a Ukranian bank debit card, prescription glasses, house key, cell phone, and a shopping bag containing a jacket she had purchased earlier. She said the suspect also took the jacket and a Pandora bracelet she was wearing and her sandals. Total loss was estimated at $690.
