I been working at Sumotoma rubber, the former Goodyear / Dunlop factory for the last 9 years and have been a factory worker for over twenty years. I am very active for my local union and serve as a Union steward of local USW 135. My wife and I were active members of the Heritage Heights Elementary PTA.

Please tell us about yourself:
I have been married to my beautiful wife, Martha, for 27 years. We have 3 children, all of whom have benefited from being part of Sweet Home. My oldest Joseph, graduated from RIT last year and now working for the school in their Information Technology Department. Our second child, Jeremy, is in 8th grade at Sweet Home Middle and our youngest, Julia, is a sixth grader at the school.
Please describe the top issues facing your school district and how you would address them as a school board member:
Top issue I see in our district is making certain that all our children are receiving the best possible education we can provide them as a district. The Sweet Home teachers that I have come to know over the years love to teach. They have said to me they love watching students grow in learning each and every day

Please explain why, in 100 words or less:
We just need to get back to the basics. Let the teachers teach, that is what they got there degree in . So as a district let then do it. We will as a district will provide our teachers with everything they need to help our students succeed.
