Man charged with knifepoint robbery in Tonawanda

City of Tonawanda Police have charged a Town of Tonawanda man with an April 18 knifepoint robbery of two men.

Joshua G. Jacobi of Thurston Avenue faces first-degree robbery and other charges after police say he took $800 in cash and credit cards from the men on Morgan Street.

Jacobi, 24, also was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny, petit larceny, second-degree menacing and criminal possession of a weapon with intent to use.

After he was arraigned before City Court Judge Mark Saltarelli, bail was set at $2,500. Jacobi is due back in court May 10 for a felony hearing.
