State and Samuel is in Math Education at Geneseo. Hamburg is a district that prides itself on ensuring that all types of students get the education they deserve. Please describe the top issues facing your school district and how you would address them as a school board member:
The incredible loss of funding that public schools have had to endure is heartbreaking. We have advocated on all levels to try and secure more monies for our district.
Do you think public education in New York is headed in the right direction? Yes
Please explain why, in 100 words or less:
I feel that parents and educators have united in advocacy for our schools and students. Uniting has put pressure on NYS and I am cautiously optimistic that change in funding and in mandates are on the horizon.
