PRENDERGAST - Terese M. (nee O'Donnell) Passed away May 5, 2016 after a short illness at the age of 90; beloved wife of the late James B. Prendergast; devoted mother of eight; Carol (Steven) Fazekas,
Peter (Jean), Michael (Karen), Anne (James) Sklaroff, late Terrence, late James (Natalie), late Susan (Joseph) Kubiak and the late Joseph Prendergast; adored grandmother of 16 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; dear sister of Nancy Tynan and the late Joan Markert and late Claire Hunter; also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. The family will be present on Sunday from 3 to 7 PM at the (Amherst Chapel) AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 5200 Sheridan Dr. (at Hopkins Rd.) where prayers will be offered on Monday at 9:45 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated in St. Gregory the Great Church at 10:30 AM. Friends invited. Terese was a registered nurse, supervisor and discharge planner for St. Francis Hospital who retired March 1, 1991 after 28 years of service. Terese also appeared in the Norman Rockwell painting "The Dugout" featured in the Saturday Evening Post in 1948. Share condolences at www.AMIGONE.com.
