BADMINTON: Rally Niagara will hold its Spring Classic Tournament on May 15 at St. Mary’s High School in Lancaster. Boys and girls round-robin play will be followed by a double-elimination bracket in age groups up to 23-and-under. Register at rallyniagarabadminton.com by May 11; $5 fee can be paid at the door. HOCKEY: The deadline to enter the Buffalo Storm Street Hockey Festival is May 15. The tournament will be held June 4-5 at Losson, Dingens and North Creek parks in Cheektowaga and is open to ages 6 through adult. Teams may have a maximum of six players, including a goalie. Fee is $145, or $120 if all team members live in Cheektowaga. Three games are guaranteed, with a max of five. Players need helmet, gloves, stick and sneakers. Register at buffalostorm.net. SOFTBALL: The second annual Scrimmage to Benefit the Chief & Tony Scholarship Fund at the school will be held at 10 a.m. May 22 on the turf fields at Niagara Falls High School. Participation is limited to eight teams. Each team is guaranteed two games. Umpires and game balls will be provided.
