A Buffalo man faces a number of charges after he threatened a woman with a knife and then fled, striking several vehicles as he drove away just after 11 p.m. Monday on Richmond Avenue, police said.
Michael Kessler Jr. 21, of Richmond Avenue was charged with second-degree menacing, third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, operating a motor vehicle without a license, leaving the scene of a property damage accident and reckless driving.
A victim reported that Kessler had threatened her with a large butcher knife following a fight. He left in his vehicle and reportedly hit two parked vehicles and then drove away, hitting another vehicle, police added.
Kessler was apprehended by police and arrested.
