Candidates’ rhetoric is both annoying, tedious
This year’s presidential campaign has become very tedious for those who yearn for political rhetoric that doesn’t sound like a car alarm that won’t turn off.
In the Republican campaign, all the candidates sound as if they are reciting the Pledge of Allegiance over and over again for hours on end.
In the Democratic campaign, all the candidates sound as if they are calling a 911 emergency phone line to report not just one crime or emergency, but multiple crimes and emergencies. Tragically all the 911 type phone call campaign speeches last longer than an actual emergency.
