The Orchard Park School District will hold a hearing at 7 p.m. Tuesday to review the $94.6 million budget, a 3.45 percent increase from last year.
The spending plan would raise $60 million from property taxes and cause a 1.68 percent increase in the tax levy, which is the tax cap limit.
In Orchard Park, the estimated tax rate increase is 49 cents per $1,000 of assessed value or a 1.48 percent increase from last year.
The hearing at the school district offices at 2240 Southwestern Blvd. in West Seneca, will include presentations from the three candidates running for the two open three-year seats on the school board:
Dwight D. Eagan, Robert J. Mahany and Saverio “Sam” Marrazzo.
After the May 17 election, two winners will take places of departing board members Natalie Schaffer and Anthony Agnello.
Voting will take place from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. in the gym at the high school, 4040 Baker Road. Please use the Freeman entrance.

• The village Planning Board meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday, first floor conference room, Municipal Center.
• The town Planning Board meets at 7 p.m. Wednesday, basement meeting room, Municipal Center.
• The Town Board meets Wednesday for a 6 p.m. work session at the Supervisor’s office before the 7 p.m. meeting in the court/board room, Municipal Center.
