A Cattaraugus County man faces charges of drunken driving and leaving the scene of an accident after a two-vehicle rollover crash late Thursday in Cheektowaga.
The crash happened at Dingens Street and Rossler Avenue at about 11:40 p.m., said Assistant Cheektowaga Police Chief James Speyer.
Seth Halftown Jr., 49, of Perrysburg, was driving east on Dingens when he ran a red light and struck a car heading north on Rossler, Speyer said. Both cars flipped on their sides.
Halftown ran from the scene on foot, but was found several streets away. He refused a breath test at the scene and was charged with driving while intoxicated and leaving the scene of an accident.
The woman driving the other vehicle suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
