The North Carolina man charged with killing his pregnant ex-girlfriend from North Tonawanda confessed to the crime, according to WECT-TV in Willmington, N.C.
Christopher Kalb admitted he shot Shannon N. DiTillio about 30 miles from Myrtle Beach, S.C., according to a search warrant the TV station obtained.
Kalb told investigators he drove DiTillio, 22, from his home in Brunswick County, N.C., to Horry County, S.C., saying “he was going to leave her alone in the lot, until the victim told him that he would never see his child,” WECT-TV reported, citing the warrant.
Then he told police he shot her.
“She got into my head, so I blew hers the [expletive] off,” Kalb told police.
DiTillio’s body was found April 10 in a vacant lot in Longs, S.C.
Kalb was not the father of the unborn child, but the couple did have a daughter together.
