Eccentric Atlanta MC CeeLo Green will bring his Love Train Tour to the Town Ballroom (681 Main St.) at 8 p.m. June 11.
The hip-hop musician would make a name for himself as a founding member of socially conscious Southern rap trio Goodie Mob in the early 1990s, and would later go on to find a new audience and success with his psych-soul project Gnarls Barkley.
Along with producer Danger Mouse, the pair would release two successful albums under the moniker, earning a No. 1 single in 2006 with the track "Crazy."
While both acts are actively working on new music, Green's acclaimed solo career has continued to grow, earning himself a Grammy in 2010 for his spiteful single "[Forget] You," in addition to playing the role of vocal coach for NBC's reality singing competition, "The Voice."
Tickets are currently on sale for $29.50 for general admission and $109.50 for a Meet-and-Greet VIP Experience (box office, Ticketfly).
