The Rochester R&R/R&B Revue hits Mohawk Place

A triple assault of Rochester retro rock acts will invade Mohawk Place (47 E. Mohawk St.) at 8 p.m. April 30.

The Rochester R&R/R&B Revue will be headlined by the Fox Sisters, a seven-man 1960s-influenced R&B collective that will conjure up memories of Wilson Pickett, Sam Cooke, Bo Diddly, as well as modern rockers King Kahn & the Shrines/BBQ Show. The group released its 12-track, party-ready record "Under the Stars" last September on Rochester's Reel Time Records.

Joining the Fox Sisters will be their surf rocking label mates the Televisionaries as well as fellow sister city frat rockers the Temptators.

Cover is $5 at the door. Buffalo's the Good will represent the Queen City in support. Further event details can be found here.
