Elmwood Village Winter Market to give way after this weekend to its outdoor sister

The Elmwood Village Winter Market, the indoor version of the Elmwood-Bidwell Farmers Market, will conclude its 20-week season from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday in Buckham Hall at SUNY Buffalo State.

Buckham Hall is along Rockwell Road near the Grant Street entrance to the school. Free parking is available during market hours; Lot R-13 is most convenient. Nearly 20 vendors will be on hand, Brian & Peg will provide musical entertainment till to noon and the Big Big Table will host the market’s community table.

The Elmwood-Bidwell market will debut for the season next weekend and run 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays through November.

The Whitworth Ferguson Planetarium, also in Buckham Hall, will be open with shows starting at 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. during the Winter Market. Admission is $8 for adults, $6 for those under 18 and over 65, and free for Buffalo State students with ID. Visit fergusonplanetarium.net for more information.

Participating market vendors include Alpine Made, Avenue Boys Smokehouse, Biscotti for Everybotti, Carla’s Crumby Creations, Dan Tower Farm, Darling Bee, First Light Farm & Creamery, Go Veggies, Hands & Paws Cookies & Treats, Hanova Hills Farm, Kindred Kreek, Little Mama’s Confections, Native Offerings, The Pasta Peddler, Plato Dale Farm, Public Espresso & Coffee, Quaker Bonnet Bakery and T-Meadow Farm. One group or organization from Buffalo State also hosts a weekly informational table, and the market is equipped to accept EBT customers.
