LOCKPORT – A North Tonawanda man faces a possible sentence of life in prison if he is convicted of the child sexual abuse charges in an indictment unsealed Wednesday in Niagara County Court.
Timothy A. Wiley, 34, of Oliver Street, pleaded not guilty to one count of predatory sexual assault against a child and seven counts of first-degree sexual abuse.
The alleged victims in incidents that allegedly occurred April 6 in North Tonawanda are two girls, both under age 13. All the charges pertain to one of the girls except for one sexual abuse count involving the second girl, Assistant District Attorney Peter M. Wydysh said.
After reading police reports and Wiley’s statement to police, Judge Sara Sheldon set bail at $250,000.
