First pitch: U.S. Navy Commander Paul Burkhart throw the ceremonial first pitch at 12:40 p.m. Commander Burkhart announced that a new Freedom Variant Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) will travel to the area to be commissioned into the US Naval Fleet. This new ship will be named the U.S.S. Little Rock, and its commissioning will mark the first time in the 241-year history of the US Navy that a ship will be commissioned next to its original namesake.

Bisons Prospects: Andy Burns started the year ranked 27th among Blue Jays prospects by Baseball America. Dalton Pompey no longer ranks as a prospect but was No. 4 in 2015.

Rochester Prospects: Centerfielder Byron Buxton is the Twins' top-rated prospect by Baseball America. He started the season with the Twins but was sent back to Rochester Monday after he batted .156 in 17 games with 24 strikeouts in 45 at-bats, or 53 percent of the time.

WCC Race: Atomic is undefeated in the fifth-inning mascot race at Coca-Cola Field this year. Atomic is now 5-0 beating out Wing, Celery and (Blue) Cheese).
