LOCKPORT – A Hartland couple was arraigned Tuesday in State Supreme Court on an indictment accusing them of having more than 20 pounds of marijuana in their home when police raided it Nov. 3.
Andrew D. Fitch, 33, and Annie Tiongco-Lopez, 32, of Ridge Road, pleaded not guilty to first-degree criminal possession of marijuana. They were allegedly growing the drug, Assistant District Attorney Peter M. Wydysh said.
Fitch also pleaded not guilty to a separate indictment accusing him of third-degree criminal possession of a weapon for allegedly having a rifle that police deemed an assault weapon when another search warrant was executed May 21, 2013, when Fitch was living on Quaker Road in Barker.
Both defendants are free on bail, $25,000 for Fitch and $15,000 for Tiongco-Lopez.
