LOCKPORT – Christopher R. Miller of Niagara Falls, who is being held for violating parole in a shooting case, was arraigned in Niagara County Court Monday on a new drug indictment.
Miller, 34, of 23rd Street, pleaded not guilty to fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and tampering with evidence. He was arrested Oct. 22 in the Falls, about 3 1/2 months after his release from prison.
Miller had served most of a 7 1/2 year sentence he received in 2007 for his admission to taking part in an October 2006 Niagara Falls home invasion in which a man was shot and wounded, and then shooting the same victim again a month later. Miller’s plea package at the time also included an admission to possessing cocaine.
