Position: Cornerback.

School: Virginia.

Combine measurables: 6-foot-1, 193 pounds.

Combine stats: 40-yard dash: 4.49 seconds. Bench press: 16 reps. Vertical jump: 38 inches. Broad jump: 10 feet, 4 inches. 3-cone drill: 7.03 seconds. 20-yard shuttle: 4.09 seconds.

Career stats: 44 games, 148 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss, 2 sacks, 5 interceptions, 29 passes defensed, 4 forced fumbles.

Draft projection: Fourth-fifth round.

Lowdown: A Senior Bowl participant and preseason selection to the Bronko Nagurski Trophy watch list, Canady has the physical attributes teams want at the position, but scouts have concerns about his toughness, with one AFC scout telling teams would run screens to his side of the field because they weren’t worried about him making the tackle. … He gave up 10 touchdowns over the past two seasons, and his production in 2015 dropped sharply from three interceptions and 12 passes defensed the year before to zero and six, respectively, as a senior. Gave receivers too much of a cushion and was afraid to get beat over the top. … Answered questions about his straight-line speed at the NFL Scouting Combine with a 4.49-second 40-yard dash. … Has experience playing both in the slot and outside. … Returned a punt 74 yards for a touchdown during his college career.
