Lowdown: The 2015 Lou Groza Award winner as the nation’s best kicker, Fairbairn leaves UCLA as the all-time leading scorer in both school and Pac-12 Conference history. He became the first member of the Bruins to total at least 100 points in all four of his seasons, with 107 as a senior, when he went 20 of 24 on field-goal attempts. After failing to make a kick from beyond 50 yards in his first three seasons, Fairbairn made 2 of 3 attempts from that distance in 2015, including a school-record 60-yarder against Cal. … He also has a strong leg for kickoffs, converting touchbacks on 119 of 164 attempts (72.6 percent) in his final two seasons. … Set a school record by making 41 straight field goals from 35 yards or shorter to end his career. … Never had a kick blocked with the Bruins. … Per, Fairbairn’s legal first name is Ka’iminoeauloameka’ikeokekumupa’a.
