Tonawanda man pleads guilty to NT house burglary

LOCKPORT – A former Town of Tonawanda man pleaded guilty in State Supreme Court Wednesday to a North Tonawanda house burglary in which the homeowner caught him in the act.

Bryce F. Sortino, 21, formerly listed an address on Edgewood Avenue, but Wednesday he told State Supreme Court Justice Richard C. Kloch Sr., “I have nowhere to live.”

On Feb. 12, he was caught after removing an assortment of property from a house on Main Street in North Tonawanda. Sortino could go to prison for as long as four years when he returns before Kloch June 15 for sentencing on his plea to a reduced charge of attempted third-degree burglary.
