The Clarence Chamber of Commerce will hold a Women in Business conference next month.
The event will have a special focus on strategic communication in the workplace.
There will be a keynote address by Amy Pearl, co-author of “The Collaborative Breakthrough: Think differently, achieve more.” Pearl will also hold a workshop about workplace collaboration.
Human resources representatives from Tops Friendly Markets will be on hand to administer personality tests to help attendees recognize the different types of personalities in the workplace.
Dr. Candace Johnson, president and CEO of Roswell Park Cancer Institute, will also be presented with the “Woman of the Year” award. A new “Future Leader Award” will go to three Clarence high school students. There will also be a vendor marketplace.
The sixth annual expo will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. May 18 at Samuel’s Grande Manor, 8750 Main St. in Clarence.
