TOWN OF PORTER — Niagara County sheriff’s deputies charged a Youngstown man with drunken driving after they saw him cross the double yellow line and swerving from lane to lane as he drove northbound on Lower River Road at 1:41 a.m. Tuesday

Joseph J. Cecconi Jr., 51, of Carrollwood Drive, was charged with driving while intoxicated and was held in the Niagara County Jail on $250 bail. An appearance date in Town of Porter Court was set for April 26.

Deputies reported he appeared intoxicated and they found a blood alcohol reading of 0.14 percent, which is nearly twice the legal limit of 0.08 percent.
