ALBION — More than four ounces of methamphetamine and a meth production lab were discovered Tuesday morning in a Village of Albion apartment, police said.
Officers executed a search warrant about 7 a.m. at the apartment on East Bank Street as part of an investigation into an April 11 burglary at the Vape Shop, also on East Bank, according to a news release.
Arrested on felony charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful manufacturing of meth were Tara A. Ryan, 19, of Albion; Nicholas D. Barrett, 19, also of Albion; Ryan J. Adkins, 22, of Lockport; Maja L. Pugh, 19, of Lockport; Bridgette A.M. Fronczak-Reilly, 19, of Lockport; and Shane J. DiPilato, 18, of Holley. Zachary A. Deville, 22, of Albion was charged with burglary, grand larceny, conspiracy, endangering the welfare of a child and criminal mischief.
They were arraigned and sent to Orleans County Jail without bail and are to appear Wednesday in Albion Town Court.
A juvenile male also faces charges related to the burglary and is to appear in Family Court, police said.
Albion police were assisted by the State Police and Orleans County Major Felony Crime Task Force.
