Cuomo to appear with Bill Clinton at rally for Hillary

Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo will appear with former President Bill Clinton in Buffalo today as the pair make a push for Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

Cuomo and Clinton were scheduled to appear at 10:30 a.m. at the Buffalo headquarters for Hillary for New York, 671 Seneca St. They also will stop in Rochester at 2:15 p.m. at 1150 University Ave. for a similar event.

It will be the first stop among several in the Buffalo area for Clinton today, Erie County Democratic Chairman Jeremy J. Zellner said.

Bill Clinton came to Buffalo earlier this month to campaign for his wife, the former secretary of state who is vying for the Democratic nomination in a race with Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders.

About 850 people packed the Grapevine banquet hall in Depew April 5 to hear the former president urge Democratic voters not to be complacent in the run up to Tuesday’s New York State primary.

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is holding a rally tonight at First Niagara Center.
