The Canisius College Graduate Sport Administration Program will host their 13th Bowl N’ Blast on Sunday, at Airport Lanes, 1 p.m. All proceeds to benefit the Special Olympics of WNY. Lauren Blair and Samantha Miller, of Hamburg, qualified to the level 9 Eastern Nationals Gymnastics to be held in Virginia Beach, April 29-May 1. Blair won floor exercise, third on vault and beam. Blair was third all-around at regionals. Miller placed 2nd on bars, third on vault and all-around. Jordyn Moonan took first on floor, 4th on beam. Rebecca Obrochta was 4th on bars.


Lou Rosselli, Roy-Hart graduate (88) and 1996 Olympic Team member, will be honored at Wrestling Champions Day, Saturday, 10 a.m., at Roy-Hart H.S. Rosselli is the current Associate Head Wrestling Coach at Ohio State University and will be an assistant coach for the USA Olympic team in Rio for the Summer Olympics. 2013 NYS Champion Drew Hull and 2016 Champion Cameron Swick will also be honored. Ilio DiPaolo’s Restaurant, 3785 South Park Ave., Blasdell, will host a Sports Night on Monday, 6 p.m., to toast the Buffalo Bills offense for their number one ranking in rushing yards in the NFL last season with other notable accomplishments. Several current and former Bills will be in attendance and Offensive Coordinator Greg Roman will give a video presentation. Tickets are $35, and there will be two auctions, one of them silent. BASEBALL: The PAL/Independent Health Baseball League is looking for teams in four divisions: 8-10 Caz ($325); 13 & under at South Park ($325), diamonds new, 50-foot mound, 70-foot bases; 16 & under ($325); and 19 & under ($325). Age cut-off is May 1st. Games will be played during the day at Cazenovia and Delaware parks. Registration deadline is June 1. Team registration only. GOLF: The Buffalo Jr. Sabres Youth Hockey Organization will host its third annual golf tournament July 25 at Lancaster Country Club. The event features an 18-hole scramble tournament with carts and lunch, a cocktail hour following the round with an open bar and appetizers, a buffet dinner plus silent and Chinese auction items.
