Shakespeare workshop will be held Saturday

“Will Power,” a day-long workshop on Shakespeare, will take place on the Nichols School campus from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, the 452nd anniversary of the birth of the renowned playwright. It will be held in collaboration with the University at Buffalo’s “Bvffalo Bard,” Nardin Academy and Nichols Schools’ Student Shakespeare Conference.

Featured speakers will include Saul Elkin, director and founder of Shakespeare in Delaware Park, and Emma Whipday, a teaching fellow at King’s College in London, England and current educational lecturer at Shakespeare’s Globe.

Certificates for professional development for teachers will be available. Each teacher also will receive a Shakespeare tool kit from the National Endowment for the Humanities. For information and registration, call Emma V. Eddy at 881-6262 or visit
