NOWICKI - Ronald J. "Ronnie" Of Clarence NY, passed peacefully at home on April 13, 2016, with his beloved wife, Jenifer Mooers Nowicki and friend, Cindy Hall at his side. Preceded in death by his late wife Esther (Slominski) Nowicki; dear father of Susan Youngs, Debora (Scott) DeLacy and Ronald (Sue) Nowicki, Jr.; loving grandfather of Aaron Beck (Theresa Czajkowski), Katie (Nick) Bowers, AJ DeLacy, Scott (Sarah) DeLacy II, Shayla Nowicki, the late Christopher Nowicki and six great grandchildren; brother of Cindy Parker, Carl (Jeannine) Nowicki, Carol Berny (Bill Wrobel) and the late Walter (Loraine) Nowicki; brother-in-law to Jonathan (Anisa) Mooers, David Mooers, the Slominski family and many nieces and nephews. Born in Buffalo to the late Walter and Jessie Nowicki on September 3, 1933, Ronnie grew up in various neighborhoods in Buffalo. He proudly served in the US Air Force, 1952-57 and received the National Defense Service Medal. He settled in Depew for over 50 years were he raised his family before moving to Clarence. He worked at the Buffalo Ford Stamping Plant for 32 years and retired in 1996 as a Utility Supervisor. He was a lifelong antique dealer, an expert in antique lighting restoration, a Master Bookbinder and loved to fish. Loved by many, he will be missed by all for his positive attitude, his kindness to others and that special twinkle in his beautiful blue eyes. A Celebration of his life will be held Saturday, April 23rd, 3:00 PM at First United Methodist Church, 65 Main St, North Tonawanda, NY. A special thanks to the staff of US Renal Care Cheektowaga and 2 Southwest at Millard Fillmore Suburban for their unwavering help and support.
