A West Seneca man was charged Thursday night after he pulled items from an Elma home and set them on fire, according to the Erie County Sheriff’s Office.
Sean Myers, 27, went into a residence on Seneca Street at about 11:30 p.m. and pulled out items, including a couch, which he piled up and set ablaze. He made multiple trips inside the home and brought more items out to throw on the fire, the sheriff’s office said.
Myers was found inside the home where they also discovered a crack pipe on a table that had crack cocaine residue on it.
Myers was charged with a misdemeanor count of arson, reckless endangerment, criminal mischief and criminal possession of a controlled substance. He is being held in the Erie County Holding Center pending arraignment, the sheriff’s office said Friday morning.
