Person extricated after car hits parked vehicle, another car on Main Street

At least one person had to be extricated from a vehicle following an early-morning crash on Main Street near Sisters Hospital.

The collision happened at about 1 a.m. Friday on the 2200 block of Main.

A southbound car hit a parked vehicle and then another car that also was heading south, according to Buffalo police. The parked vehicle got pushed into a fire hydrant.

Two people were injured, including the driver of the first vehicle, identified only as a 22-year-old Buffalo woman. She was treated and released from Erie County Medical Center.

No charges had been filed as of Friday morning.
