Tickets for Trump’s WNY rally to be available soon

It is, for the time being, Buffalo’s greatest mystery: when will people be able to reserve tickets for Donald Trump’s rally at 7 p.m. Monday at First Niagara Center?

You can expect an answer in the next couple of days, said Michael R. Caputo, an adviser to Carl P. Paladino, honorary co-chairman of Trump’s New York campaign.

Trump events tend to pop up on his campaign website about 48 hours before the event, Caputo said.

So when, precisely, will Trump’s Buffalo rally appear online?

“It’s really up to when the Secret Service signs off on the event,” Caputo explained. “Nothing is done until the Secret Service is done.”

The Secret Service has to sign off on major presidential campaign rallies like this one just to make sure the venue is secure, which is an especially big task for rallies as big as Trump’s, and for venues as big as First Niagara Center.
