COMFORT - James D. April 12, 2016 in Niagara Hospice House with his family at his side. Born July 20, 1952 in Tonawanda. He is the son of the late James A. and Ann M. (Keough) Comfort. He attended local schools graduating from Williamsville North then attended Paul Smith College and volunteered for the Army during Vietnam. He met Michele Corey in 1979 and they were married July 10, 1982. James continued working at National grinding Wheel and Dupont when he entered the Parks Department retiring September 29, 2010 then worked part time for Yahoo as a security guard. He loved hunting golf bird watching and motorcycles. A member of Olcott Bible Church, he loved the lord family and friends also he was a lifetime member of the NRA. Surviving besides his wife, are sons James Richard Comfort of Amherst; Sean Eric (Alicia Wojewoda) Comfort of Niagara Falls; granddaughter Mackenzie Comfort; Siblings Connie Comfort; Kathy (Jerry) Zasowski; Daniel (Margie) Comfort; Mary Comfort; Tommy (Amy) Comfort; Patricia Comfort; and Michael (Josie) Comfort; also surviving are many nieces nephews and cousins. Services will be held Saturday at 10 AM. Visitation in the Olcott Bible Church and Noon Service. Burial will be at Acacia Park. Arrangements by HAMILTON AND CLARK FUNERAL HOME, 270 Young Street, Wilson. Memorials to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Dr., Lockport. Condolences
