Half & Half Clothing Co. is getting ready to reopen under new ownership.
New owners Jennifer and Kilby Bronstein have completely renovated the Elmwood Avenue store in Buffalo and its facade, The mother and daughter team ditched the store’s exterior awning in favor of backlit signs above the store. The interior has an upscale rustic look incorporating reclaimed wood designs and shelving from Wrafterbuilt and lighting by Emerson James.
In addition to women’s clothing and accessories, the new owners have added men’s clothing and a home goods section. The store has added new product lines to appeal to both younger and older customers.
The store, at 1088 Elmwood Ave., has been a fixture in the neighborhood for more than four decades. In January, the Bronsteins bought the store from longtime owners and family friends Debbie and Bill Sidel.
The grand opening will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday.
