CONGRESS ON YOUR CORNER: Staff from the office of Rep. Brian Higgins, D-Buffalo, will hold two “Congress on Your Corner” sessions on Thursday, from 9 to 11 a.m. at North Tonawanda City Hall, 216 Payne Ave., and 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Friends to the Elderly Community Center, 118 East Utica St.
CONCERT SERIES: The fourth concert in Villa Maria College’s M&T Spring Concert Series will feature Ravi Padmanabha from 11 a.m. to noon Thursday on the Villa campus, 240 Pine Ridge Road, Buffalo. The concerts are free and open to the public. Reservations are not required.
HOSPITAL ROCK-A-THON: The auxiliary of Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center will hold its 15th annual Rock-a-thon from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday in the hospital’s upper lobby, 621 10th St., Niagara Fall. Members and friends of the auxiliary, including elected officials and other community leaders, will rock in rocking chairs for half-hour increments, with each rocker soliciting pledges. Proceeds will be used to support equipment purchases and programs at the medical center. For information, call 278-4159.
