In change of plans, Ted Cruz to visit Buffalo on Thursday

Ted Cruz is expected to bring his campaign to Buffalo on Thursday, a change from the original plan to be in town Friday.

The Republican presidential contende is expected to conduct a morning town hall-style meeting at a location to be determined, said Russ Gugino, Buffalo spokesman for the Texas senator.

He also said emails he has received from Cruz headquarters in Houston indicate that NBC (or possibly MSNBC) plan to be involved in the event.

Cruz is then expected to fly to New York City for the state GOP dinner at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Manhattan, before resuming an upstate swing Friday in Rochester, the Syracuse suburb of Clay, and Binghamton, he said.
