COACHING: D’Youville College is seeking applicants for the position of head women’s soccer coach. The part-time position requires a bachelor’s degree, prior collegiate experience, valid driver’s license and CPR/First Aid Certification. FOOTBALL: SUNY Buffalo State Head Coach Jerry Boyes and his staff will give a free coaches clinic at 7 p.m. Monday in the Houston Gym on the Buffalo State Campus. GOLF: The Town of Hamburg Department Youth, Recreation and Senior Services will host a youth golf open house April 23, 1 to 5 p.m. at 18 Mile Creek Golf Course, 6374 Boston State Road, Hamburg. The free event is a chance for kids ages 5-17 to learn more about instructional programs available and to participate in chipping and putting contests. There will be free food and refreshments. SOCCER: The Town of Cheektowaga Soccer program registration dates are Saturday, April 12, 16 and 20 at the Alexander Community Center, 275 Alexander Ave. Age divisions are 3-18 and co-ed teams will play on the outdoor fields in Town Park. Go to for details.
