Lowdown: A team captain for the Gators, Morrison is an intense player who had back-to-back 100-tackle seasons – the first player to do so for Florida since Ed Robinson in 1992-93. The fact he played as well as he did in 2015 is impressive considering he suffered multiple torn ligaments in his left knee in the 2014 Birmingham Bowl and was expected to miss the first half of the following season. Instead, he didn’t miss a start. … Named a Butkus Award semifinalist. … Also suffered a right knee injury in November 2013, so medical reports will be key. … Has two arrests on his record, one in June 2013 for punching a bouncer and another the next month for barking at a police dog. Seriously. … Has the toughness, leadership and aggressiveness teams will want, but is slightly undersized. … Reportedly made a pre-draft visit with the Buffalo Bills.
