HARD HAT TOUR: Tour the newly reconstructed Crescendo Lofts housed in an old warehouse at 1502 Niagara St., from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday. This project, spearheaded by Natale Builders and Carmina Wood Morris, will include 41 apartments as well as commercial space. Following the tour, Barbara Rowe of Vision Niagara will give a talk about the revitalization of Niagara Street at Community Beer Works, 15 Lafayette Ave. The cost is $15 for members of the organization; free for PBN Circle members and $30 for nonmembers. BATAVIA UGANDA WATER WALK: The Batavia Business Improvement District will sponsor the third annual Uganda Water Walk from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday from Batavia High School to downtown Batavia. The fundraiser helps bring safe, clean accessible water to communities in Uganda. Walkers are encouraged to carry water jugs as a symbolic act.
