Carnegie Art Center features emerging artists in upcoming show

NORTH TONAWANDA — The annual “Studio 2016” show at the Carnegie Art Center features local artists from the Partners in Art Studio.

The 20th annual show opens Thursday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the gallery at 240 Goundry St. The exhibition continues through April 30 with gallery hours from noon to 3 p.m. on Saturdays.

The annual studio show displays the work of emerging artists, as well as teachers, from the Partners in Art studios. Partners in Art at 79 Webster St. offers classes and workshops, as well as its own gallery and offers framing and art supplies.

The annual show at the Carnegie Art Center allows the opportunity for newer artists to display their work in a professional setting.

The exhibition is made possible in part by the City of North Tonawanda and members of the Carnegie Art Center.
