BERGEN – A Bergen man was arrested Wednesday for selling marijuana in the towns of Bergen and Byron, the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office said.
Cody D. Mayer, 23, of Lake Avenue, was charged with third-degree criminal sale of marijuana, a felony, and fourth-degree criminal sale of marijuana, a misdemeanor.
Mayer’s arrest was the result of a Genesee County Grand Jury Indictment Warrant, the Sheriff’s Office said. He was arrested at the Genesee County Jail, while incarcerated for separate charges.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, Mayer reportedly sold marijuana to a member of the Genesee County Drug Task Force in Bergen and Byron.
Mayer was arraigned in Genesee County Court, and remanded to the Genesee County Jail without bail.
