TOWN OF NIAGARA — A driver in a blue Mustang who allegedly passed a Niagara County sheriff patrol car driving 78 miles per hour was stopped and charged with drunken driving.
Gary E. Glenn, 46, of Lockport Road was stopped just after 7:30 p.m. Monday in the 5400 block of Lockport Road.
He appeared intoxicated, according deputies and said he had about five beers at a local bar. He said he did not realize he had passed a patrol car.
His blood alcohol was 0.29 percent, more than three times the legal limit and Glenn was charged with felony aggravated driving while intoxicated as well as speeding.
