The Buffalo Bisons will take a three-game winning streak into their final spring exhibition game on Friday after a 3-2 triumph on Tuesday over the Lehigh Valley IronPigs in Dunedin, Fla.
Left-handed pitcher John Anderson earned the win for the Herd, allowing two runs over the final four innings. He struck out five. Lefty Wade LeBlanc started for Buffalo and pitched five shutout innings, allowing just one hit and no walks. He struck out three.
Buffalo won with only four hits. One of the four was an RBI single by outfielder Dalton Pompey, who has driven in a run in each of the last three games.
The Bisons have won five of their last six exhibition games to improve to 6-5 for the spring. The Florida finale will be against Lehigh Valley on Friday.
