Bandit feigns weapon during North Buffalo convenience store robbery

A North Buffalo convenience store was robbed Sunday morning by a man who acted as though he had a weapon, police reported.

The bandit entered the Sunoco store at Delaware and Kenmore avenues at 10:20 a.m. and demanded money, Northwest District officers said.

A clerk handed over cash to the suspect who fled south on Delaware, according to a report. The suspect was described as a brown-haired white man, about 150 pounds and 5 feet 6 inches tall. He was wearing a black pea coat, jeans, tan shoes and sunglasses.
