LOCKPORT – A woman who was arrested along with her husband on a gun charge pleaded not guilty to an indictment in the case Thursday.
Stephany Chandler, 25, of Saunders Settlement Road, Cambria, appeared in Niagara County Court to deny a charge of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon. Last month, her husband Ronnie H. Chandler, 29, pleaded not guilty to the same charge. He also is under indictment for unrelated charges of selling crack cocaine twice last year in Niagara Falls.
The unregistered handgun allegedly was found when the couple’s vehicle was stopped by State Police Aug. 19 on Caravelle Drive in the Falls.
