A Buffalo man was accused Wednesday of drunken driving with a child in his vehicle.
Toh Bah, 57, was pulled over on Grand Island Boulevard just after 1 p.m., the Erie County Sheriff’s Office said. A sheriff’s deputy saw Bah driving on the shoulder of the road, crossing over the yellow line and speeding.
Bah, who refused a breath test, was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated under Leandra’s Law, drinking alcohol in a vehicle and not having a carseat for a passenger younger than 4 years old. He also was ticketed for speeding and lane violations, the sheriff’s office said.
Bah was taken to Erie County Medical Center to evaluate his medical condition due to alcohol consumption, authorities said. He is scheduled to appear in Grand Island Town Court Wednesday.
