NEWFANE — A Niagara Falls man who is also known as a country music performer, was charged with drunken driving by Niagara County sheriff’s deputies. He reportedly had a blood alcohol level nearly twice the 0.08 percent legal limit.
Joshua A. Biro, 38, of Saunders Settlement Road was stopped while traveling south on Lockport-Olcott Road at 2:31 a.m. Sunday. Deputies reported he had been driving 50 miles per hour in a 35 mile per hour zone and his vehicle had been swerving.
Biro, who performs as J.B. Aaron, told deputies his band had been performing at Scruples Bar in Newfane and he had a few drinks with friends.
He was charged with speeding and driving while intoxicated.
