Buffalo State College will hold a job and internship fair for its students and alumni this week.
More than 50 organizations will be there to recruit to employees and interns, including sponsors Accelerate Marketing, Arbor Financial, Ingram Micro, Northtown Automotive, People Inc. and Tracks Marketing and Management. Some of the available internships are paid.
Open positions recruiters are looking to fill include financial representatives, mental health counselors, business analysts, multimedia journalists, IT support technicians, business analysts and speech-language pathologists.
“We have opportunities for students from every major on campus,” said Stephanie Zuckerman-Aviles, director of the Career Development Center.
The event takes place from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the Student Union Social Hall, 1300 Elmwood Ave. The career center also provides several services and workshops, including resume review, interviewing techniques and job search strategies. For more information, call the center, 878-4000.
