A look at Torn Space Theater's proposed expansion

Torn Space Theater's plan to expand into a space formerly occupied by a Sunoco station on Fillmore Avenue is moving ahead, with its proposal now before the city Planning Board.

Below are some renderings of the proposed space, which will house a production and design studio and conference rooms:

The project, designed by Natalie Tan of Integrated Environments + Architecture, will feature a customized metal facade produced by Rigidized Metals, with design assistance from University at Buffalo architecture professor Christopher Romano. The architect of record on the project is Stieglitz Snyder Architecture and its construction manager is R&P Oak Hill.
