Alcott HR appointed Mary P. Freer director of human resources, Western New York Division. Previously, Freer was with ROI HR Consulting Benefit Brokers of Western New York in Amherst. She holds a bachelor’s degree from University at Buffalo.

Deaf Access Services received a $2,500 quality of life grant from the First Niagara Foundation.
